Goal setting and tracking

Here's the link I talked about on the show this afternoon.  At "43 Things" you can create and keep track of your life goals.  My first five are:

1 - Listen to a full Third Day CD without breaks
2 - Lose ten pounds by September 10
3 - Take a trip with just my daughter, Zoe before she turns three and a half
4 - Finish archiving a whole bunch of old radio audio I have in my garage
5 - Broadcast the afternoon show from somewhere in Victoria

What are you big life goals right now?

Family Friendly Movies!

Familytv A couple times a month in our home "Family Movie Night" rolls around with all three of our kids looking forward to an evening of popcorn, cookies, milk and cuddling on the couch while watching some sort of flick on the TV.  But, if you are like our family, you've been through all of the Disney classics (several times!!) and are looking for new movies to watch together.

To the rescue is the new "Kids First" website with hundreds, if not thousands, of ideas for you.  This site is a joint production of the very official sounding "Coalition for Quality Children's Media", and of course, you will want to make sure any film you watch meets YOUR families' standards, but it was helpful for us!

Here's the link:  KidsFirst.org  ~  You can also get current movie and TV review from our friends at Focus On The Family by clicking here:  Plugged In Online
